To-Do List of my Lifetime

A couple of weeks ago I posted esquire’s 75 things a man should do before he dies. I included some things from that list as well as my own personal items. Some of these things might seem silly but I’m pretty sure after sky diving you will fell much different. The list will start with the items I agree with esquire and items italic are items personally accomplished.
No. 1 Play a Team Sport
Playing a team sport of any kind has a huge affect on you. The feeling of winning, team play, practice, responsibility you have to your team. There is a great feeling to play your part in a team. I’m not just talkin about out door sports, I’m talkin about all type of activities the involve more than just yourself. I have even been part of a Clan for a PC game called Battlefield Vietnam and at the moment I coach Pee Wee soccer.
No. 2 Learn to Fix something
It feels good when someone come to you fix something. Or just to be known as the guy that can fix things. I have been asked to fix their computers and for another special gift that I cant mention on here (you know what I’m talkin about Gorda)
No. 3 Fly a Plane
I know flying lessons are expensive and well it just takes to many hours to even be allowed to fly on your own. So unless you have a rich friend that has a private plane this will actually be hard to accomplish.
No. 4 Make a To-Do List
Not easy to do, its actually hard to sit down and think of things. You have to remember to put down things that you are very proud of accomplishing as well.
No. 5 Learn to at least cook something
I’m no cook but I can say I cook some eggs, bacon and sausage. I can throw some steaks on the grill, burgers, hot dogs on the grill as well. It feels good being the cook at a party.
No. 6 Take a Road Trip
Road trips have many accomplishments in just one trip. Just knowing you have crossed state lines or how many miles you traveled in so many hours, or crossing time zones, the things you think about when all you see is the road. So many things can go through your head in just one trip. And of course it feels good to get away.
No. 7 Recognize the Accomplishments of Others
Theres no need to hate on others because they have done what you havent. Just try to use them as a goal that you yourself want to accomplish. Dont hate because your friend has a new house and a new truck, get off your ass and do something.
No. 8 Enjoy Snow
This one is easy for those that live in areas where it snows but I myself did not experience snow untill I have 23. What I mean by enjoying is do it all, ski, snowboard, tobogganing, snowmobile, and build a snow man. First time I was in the snow was a trip to Michigan with Mi Gorda, I only wish to go back.
No. 9 Scuba
I have only been snorkeling and enjoyed it very much. I would love to explore the under water life, exploring a place that you need equipment to get to is very exciting.
No. 10 Have a Bottle of Choice
My bottle for choice the Crown Royale, every man should have a bottle that represents him.
No. 11 Make a Reputation
Have a rep (true or not) that everyone or a group of ones or just one guy thinks of you. I have some guys that think I’m a drug dealer, some guys that think I’m a bum. If I know they think that of me I keep playing along.
No. 12 Learn an Instrument
Learn to play some kind of instrument has a great feeling. I think the guitar is the most panty droping instrument you can learn. I picked up the drums for a while but that just doesn’t do it for the ladies. I wouldnt mind learning the guitar to sing to Mi Gorda.
No. 13 Be a High Roller
Stay at a Hotel (local or out of state) – Lean into the services a good hotel offers as if it were a way of life and it will be. On the first day, order the same breakfast to be delivered to your room at the same time, every day thence. Tell them you like the newspaper on the cart, with no plastic bag. Take long showers. Stop in at the front desk for messages. Greet the doormen with a twenty. Take walks. Take saunas. Learn the name of the room-service manager. Establish a routine involving a cocktail, the balcony, and a bowl of olives. Tell the concierge to make you seven dinner reservations for seven nights. Tell him to surprise you. After you leave, go back a year later and they will remember your name. At a hotel, it is good to be known.
No. 14 Milk a Cow
Everybody drinks milk, but we drink the shit they sell us telling us its from cows. When you grab that Tit and squeze and drink that, milk will be different to you.
No. 15 Build Shelter
Building something that is made to protect you or your car or your dog whatever. The fact that you used your hands and sweat has more feelings to your shity shed. I am building my own house, it makes me feel so accomplished that built the house that I want to raise my kids in, the house that I built for my family.
No. 16 Have a Family Heirloom
Have something that your family pass down and pass it down to your kids. I yet have something passed down but I do have my eyes on this German Luger that my GrandPa has, He passed away over a year ago so I have no idea who has it.
No. 17 Save someones life
It can literally save their lives from death or just save them from drugs or money. I have helped several friends and family members from money problems. I helped them from paying rent to paying gas. I have been burnt before of course but I helped them believing the story they told me. But it is a great feeling knowing you saved them from some serious shit. I know that in this world you cant really rely on anybody but yourself, but I hope that when I hit rock bottom, I hope somebody reaches a hand out. Mi Gorda reached out to me, she has no idea how she saved my life 2 years ago, I mean no Idea Gorda.
No. 18 Host a Party
Two year ago I hosted a nice party with a Band and all. It feels great being the center of attention at an event. This year I hosted a party with Mi Gorda, not to big, but sure feels better sharing the attention with your special someone.
No. 19 Live in another Country
Learning another culture is different than living in it. You get to appreciate or just love the different life styles from another culture. I have stayed in Mexico, not just with my family but with very poor folks. Makes you feel like a king when you have that hot water at home.
No. 20 Have an Unreachable Goal
Set a goal that you know is to damn hard to reach. Take a risk maybe, something that scares the shit out of you if it doesnt happen. I invested $50k this year in horses. This is not my first time, each year I invest more, I started with $10k and let me tell you its a scary feeling.
No. 21 Have a Threesome
Well that just explains itself.
No. 22 Sing/Speak in Public
Everyone is scared to go in front of people to speak. It can help your confidence so much to conquer that fear. I have spoke several times, speech class in college, church sermons. You need to be confident in yourself, even if your known as a douche bag.
No. 23 Sell Everything
Some times we keep things around because they have meanings, some kind of memory tied to them. Getting rid of all that shit and have new ones makes you feel like your in a new environment.
No. 24 Kill, dress, cook and eat wild game
Hunting is the true experience of being a MAN. Nothing feels more savage hunting a wild animal and yet skin that bitch and eat it. I can kill it well, its the dress that makes me feel like a punk. Then I feel better when I eat it.
No. 25 Have Sex in Water
Sex in the Pool, hot tub, lake, ocean or just in the shower. Things change, not easy to do but with that one that does it for you oh man is it nice.
No. 26 Ride a Horse
Riding an animal that can literally kill you has a feeling of dominance. A horse knows if your scared of it so its no easy task.
No. 27 Save something
Some bodies trash is some else’s treasure. I have purchased horses at almost free or just save them from unfed home to making me thousands.
No. 28 Camp outdoors
Real camping, tents and shitting in the woods. Great feeling being away from all things that make it easy. I have camped with my family several times, its a completely different way to sleep. You hear shit you dont hear at home LOL. Cleaning yourself in lakes and cooking outdoors, I cant wait to take my own family camping.
No. 29 Bet on a Long shot
Oh it feels crazy putting some money on long shot and winning. The nerves you have when you have money on this horse is one thing, but knowing that your gonna cash in is another. You will cheer and pray as if your life depended on it. I put down $50 on a long shot once, cheered my ass off and I completly forgot about my bet since I was so excited about winning. Once I saw the pay off and noticed they were gonna give me $1500 back just gave me another great feeling.
No. 30 Raise a Dog
I put this cause well its as close as raising a child. I raised a pit bull from 5 weeks old, I teached him to potty train and to obey. I had to put him down for doing the worst, I will never be able to raise another pet again. The next time I raise something will be my child. I can’t wait Gorda!!
No. 31 Bungee Jump
If you can find a place where they do it.
No. 32 Sky dive
I can only imagine how free falling might feel.
No. 33 Watch Open Surgery
Its amazing seeing the body opened up and alive. I have seen surgery on horses, I would love to see a human opened up and worked on.
No. 34 Your Destinations
I’m sure you have many places you would love to visit. For me its Hawaii, Alaska, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Canada, Hollywood, Tokyo, New York, Europe, Russia and the South America (Brazil or Colombia)
No. 35 Wreck a Car and Live
I would love to just punch it somewhat over 100mph and just total the car. Leave the car in a way that every one says “oh shit, your a lucky bitch”
No. 36 Attend Famous Event
I want to watch the Kentucky Derby, Super Bowl, World Series, World Cup.
No. 37 Tattoo
Something that permanent is very series. I cant wait to get something that will never come off. I’m think my wifes name or my child’s name will be great. I’m actually really looking forward to this.
No. 38 Purchase House, Boat or RV
A big step to becoming an adult. Feels great knowing you own the place you live in. I purchased 5 acres with an old mobile home. I had renters in it for about a year till I started building my house. Oh does it feel nice.
No. 39 Lose weight
I wouldn’t mind getting myself in a nice fit weight. Just at least for me to feel good but at least look good for my girl. My friends tell me my girl is so damn hot and I want her friends to tell her how sexy her man is.
No. 40 Married
I cant wait for that step in my life. I have asked Mi Gorda to marry me, she accepted but we have no date set yet. I want to have the wedding party and all. Its my first time being engaged and well I want it to be the last. I’m excited and nervous at the same time. I feel like we can really have a future and make each other happy. She is some one that I am proud of, she is working on her RN. Its not easy finding your partner in life. I have dated many women before of all kinds and well you just cant find the girl with all your wants. I have dated Gorda for 2 years now and in every single situation she has proven to me she is the ONE. I know I would be able to meet and marry some one else but its not the same pretending to be happy. I asked God to put some in my path and he did, thats why I cant let her go.
No. 41 Own a Gun
Its America, since your allowed to buy guys, you must have one. I own some rifles but I have my self a very nice 9mm. Cant wait to shoot some one.
No. 42 Sales Topper
I would love the feeling of selling the most expensive horse at OBS. It might happened some day.
No. 43 Deep Sea Fishing
I would love to do some big game fishing. Deep in the ocean where you see no land a get a fucking marlin or damn shark. I have taken a boat some what deep into Gulf of Mexico, not that deep still could see the shore. We were to scared to go that deep and get lost, brought back plenty of fish with only fishing poles.
No. 44 Own a Classic
I would love to get my hands on a 70s Camaro, GTO, Vette, or Mustang shit even a Nova. Just want to feel some old engine muscle. I would love to restore as well.
No. 45 Donate Blood Regularly
To me its like giving money cause I feel like one day I might end up in need of blood and if they refuse it or tell me they are out, shit on that, I give blood. Mi Gorda got me into it and tell you what, it made me feel great that my blood will save some or even my own ass one day.
No. 46 Witness Child Birth
I have seen videos of child birth and well it just nasty. So honestly the only child birth to witness should be your own childs. I cant wait.
No. 47 Take a Cruise
There is nothing like stayin on a party boat with 24h buffet and drinks. My first cruise was to the Bahamas back in Dec 2007. Greatest trip of my life, something that I will never forget.
No. 48 Surf
I only have seen on the TV these guys just surfing these huge waves. I even wondered where the hell are these huge waves, the biggest waves I have seen are about 5 ft tall.
No. 49 Change OS
I have been on windows since windows 95. I have been loyal to windows since. Windows ME really pissed me off that I went back to 98se. Windows has been a bitch but I havnt really wanted to go back to XP. I have been dieing to get my hands on a Mac. I just want something that works and just does what click it to do. I switched a Laptop to Ubuntu and have been using for about 2 months now. I use Firefox and Pidgin and just about everything else. Its very stable to me and well it just runs, not scared of virus and spyware, one reason windows gets so slow on my Top of the line PC.
No. 50 Motorcycle
Own and drive a motorcycle around, not on a daily but just maybe a quick trip to a friends house. Maybe take the Gorda out for a ride into town. I just think a guy with a hot female on a bike is badass.
No. 51 Sex in Public
In public where you have to be hidden from view but be careful cause you will be caught easy. Its very scary to do this, some times even hard to get things going if to risky, especially girls, its hard to convice them. You gotta have a way to get them super horny.
No. 52 Surpass Fathers Skill
It feels good following your fathers foot steps. If you can master that skill and just take it higher will really make your father proud of you, everybody will notice if your doing better than your father. I havnt been past my fathers skill but I sure have done very well for my age with the skills and knowlegde from him.
No. 53 Toast at a wedding
Give some one a toast at a wedding party or a birthday party wishing them the best of luck. I would suggest being asked to give the toast, the assholes that take the Mic and give their own toast some times just make a fool of themselves.
No. 54 Take a Punch
We are all afraid of jumping into fights for the reason of getting an ass kickin. Once you get your first ass beatin you will not be afraid of them anymore. I have taken a few the face and trust me, you will not forget that feeling. This can have the a different effect and just turn you into a pussy.
No. 55 Make a Million
A million in assets is just as hard or harder then having a million cash. A small house can give you about $150k, savings here in there, two cars you can easliy get about $200k. Well not easily, you still have to pay about 30 years of mortgage. I want to hit this goal by 30.
No. 56 Take a Mission Trip
Living in a poor country, helping people that don’t speak your language is one heart warming feeling. I took a Mission Trip to Cancun when I turned 16, really changed my way of thinking.
