Dead Space a horror action game, a game that honestly playing in the dark will freak you out. I play my games on a 42in wide screen with surround sound. The back speakers will all of a sudden hear some sounds and whispers, it would cause me to turn around several times. The graphics of the game are amazing, even though everything is in the dark. You get aboard a mining ship that seems to be abandoned but once they get on it seems to full of some sort of monsters. The over the shoulder view is nice, I like the Hud display in front of you, it shows you the video logs and all your displays. You only have one rifle and all your other wepons are really tools used as guns. When your aiming your gun your man is kind of stiff and cant really move much, so theres no run and gun really. I like the slaping or the stompin of your monsters, gives you a really nice cut scenes. The only thing I didnt like about the levels are the running back and forth. Theres hit the switch here then go back and hit the switch there, of course monsters pop out in different places but damn I hate running through the same spots. As of this moment I am half way and yea I enjoy the game, its a change from the typical action game. Horror is good on a game. I keep hearing that this is too similar to Bioshock. Thats my next game to play after this.
