My Place has been fully contructed for about 3 months now. I have been furnishin my place since. I have the kitchen and dinning room done. I have my desk and Tv entertainment center ready just need to set up the surround sound. Just need to purchase my bed and Futon bed and my mini bar and some book shelves. I set up a 3D rendering of what pretty much my layout of the living room and my office/bedroom setup. Very cool web based software Project Dragonfly lets you make a layout of your house with furniture and view it in a 3D. This thing really helped me out wondering if I should put a mini bar upstairs and it sure looks good according to this. I think in about a month I should have this place done and me moved in.

The Kitchen

Kitchen Cabniets finally came in and were installed right away. Gregg/Jeff installed it in about 4 days totall, they did an amazing job. Only thing missing is my granite tops for both Kitchen and Bath. Also turns out the electric company said they need three weeks to install my power line and turn my power on. Luckly that should be about the same time my granite gets installed so it should work out. I’m not really in a hurry to move yet anways. Since it still takes a few weeks, maybe things will change. Good thing work starts back up, I have a few pieces of furniture that I need purchase. I dont really want to purchase these pieces yet, I think I will move in first and see what really fits once I’m installed.

Today’s weather was just…well wonderful and terrible at the same time. I love the cold, but of course it don’t really let you do anything outside. Nobody showed to work today, as you can see I was alone finishing up some Floors and trim. It is very hard with your hands, you can use gloves but they make it very difficult to handle things. I didnt really want to call anybody up to yell at them about show up since it was freezin (for Ocala weather, anything 50 below is freezin). The insulation crew for the attic managed to show up and scuff my paint. I guess they are use to working in rough construction. The guys didnt care about my wall, my floors…but they were in and out in less than an hour. I decided to put up some crown molding thoughout the house, it really gave it that contempary feel. Its not easy puting that up but we managed to do it. Couple more days and just sit back and wait for the cabniets to come in. My goal is to be moved in by the end of the month, but no hurry for it now, it will be lonely :(

The outside is complete! I was really starting to regret the paint job the first day. It was looking to yellow and bright, once it dried out over the next few days it looked amazing. It was the color I was looking for, a wheat brand that I use on my hats from Double H Stables Need some landscaping, maybe an outdoor kitchen area and it will be all set. Wish you could see it!

My house is basicly ready to move in. The floors look great with the color of the walls and most of my furniture. I didnt like the color of walls and was really almost thinkin about repainting. Once I installed the floors “oh yea!” it really came together. I always wanted to have wooden floors if I were to have a house. I had to install myself in order to even afford the wooden floors and the marble bathroom. I had to idea how to install marble, my friend gave me a good price and he did an amazin job.

The colors of floors, walls, and furniture are really coming together. I dont really have much furniture purchased, just somthing more to get myself into debt.

The balcony now is amazing room, added 150 sqft to the house. Honestly it might be the best room in the house. The windows give the room a great view to the outside without too much glare from sun. I will have finished pic soon.
